1. Scope of Work
- All services will be performed as outlined in your quote. This may include:
- Popcorn ceiling removal and resurfacing
- Drywall patching, repair, and full installations
- Taping, mudding, sanding, and optional smooth finishes
- Optional painting, trim, closet, and ceiling fan work
If you’ve selected a package, tier, or add-on, those will be clearly listed in your estimate or invoice.
2. Scheduling & Timeline
While we aim to accommodate your preferred start date, actual project dates may vary based on crew availability. Scheduling is confirmed only after a site visit, deposit collected, and subcontractor coordination. Most jobs are completed within the timeline agreed upon after the site visit and customer approval to proceed. Delays caused by weather, customer readiness, material availability, or unforeseen job site issues may impact timing.
3. Site Visit & Deposit Policy
- A non-refundable site visit fee of $100 is required prior to booking an in-person consultation.
- This fee covers project evaluation, measurements, and personalized recommendations.
- If the customer decides to proceed with the project, the $100 will be credited toward the total project cost.
- After the site visit and customer approval, a 25% deposit will be required to secure materials and schedule labor.
- Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or labor has been scheduled.
4. Progress Payment Clause
All jobs will follow a milestone-based payment plan to ensure fairness and alignment:
Progress Payment Schedule:
- 25% Deposit – Due after site visit and project confirmation
- 40% Midway Payment – Due after major removal, drywall install, or resurfacing
- 35% Final Payment – Due at final walkthrough before optional painting or finish services. Reminders will be issued before each payment stage. Failure to complete payments may pause project progression.
5. Change Orders
Any change to the agreed-upon scope (e.g., adding rooms, upgraded finishes, or ceiling fan installations) must be requested in writing. A revised estimate or invoice will be issued and must be approved before proceeding.
6. Job site Access & Safety
Customer agrees to:
- Provide safe, clear access to all work areas
- Remove personal items or cover valuables as needed
- Allow work during scheduled times
- Unexpected conditions (e.g., asbestos, mold, moisture) may require rescheduling or third-party remediation.
7. Final Inspection & Touch-Ups
At project completion, we will perform a final walkthrough to ensure satisfaction. Any minor corrections or touch-ups should be requested at this time. Later requests may incur a service fee.
8. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations after Site Visit & Approval: Once the customer approves the project following the site visit, any cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled project may incur additional administrative or mobilization charges.
Deposits are non-refundable once labor is booked or materials are ordered following project approval.
Reschedules are allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled start date, subject to crew availability.
9. Liability & Insurance
We are insured and follow safe work practices. However, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing structural or moisture issues
- Damage to items not moved or protected by the customer
- Delays caused by conditions beyond our control
